Touch Drawing is a playful yet profound process in which to access your innate intuition, imagination and creativity. With only fingers and hands as tools we draw on tissue paper which has been placed on inked board allowing images from our soul to flow through our fingers onto the paper. Each drawing leads us deeper into relaxation, joy and inspiration, a by-passing of our mind’s usual conditioning and encouraging the artist within us. Whether experienced artist or beginner you will find an inspiration in visual expression which takes you way beyond the images themselves!
The circle (no more than 4 or 5) creates a supportive community as we draw, evoking the regenerative cave rituals of long ago in which a community of artist / shaman drew from their deep and visionary connection with the unseen within themselves and in the living earth without. We renew our oneness with the creative presence within us and in all that is.
Group sharing, walks on the land and in the labyrinth further deepen and enhance our process.

With the Solstice approaching sunlight and growth are reaching their zenith.The fields, woods and brooks around Creative Spiral Studio are bursting with life and color…an artist’s paradise. Whether seasoned or new to creative expression you are in for a relaxing and inspiring weekend.The personal intention which each of us brings to the circle ground and focus our journeys.
Fee: $175 (Including materials and lunch.) Info available on nearby accommodations.Entering into one’s process through the playful yet profound Touch Drawing, we listen within as well as without becoming aware of all that surrounds us and tuning into ourselves. As our own unique process deepens we may choose to continue to draw or to move into other media always listening to the promptings from within and without towards authentic expression and presence. Shamanic perspectives and practices compliment the creative and are offered as ways in which to let go of cultural conditionings, move into authentic, soulbased expression and remember that creation “comes from within us not from outside us”** Group sharing and ceremony, labyrinth walks and nearby lakes for swimming enhance our experience together!
