Creative Immersion Retreats for Women

The Nature of Soul and the Soul of Nature is a series of seasonal retreats in which our focus is wholeness: a re-connection with our body, heart and soul, our complete nature/authentic self and renewal of our innate oneness with the natural world around us. The pathway to both is visual self-expression through which we “drop beneath” cultural conditioning to the very roots of the earth within ourselves, roots that we know at a cellular level. What we are mending as we create is memory of a time that the dark, rich, fertile, “compost” of the creative feminine was revered as the matrix of life, the creative life force. Our soul, the eternal aspect of our being, is called forth through our intentions as we draw.
We begin our journey with the profound yet playful process of Touch Drawing. Each drawing takes us deeper calling forth our gifts of intuition, insight and imagination as we receive these mirrors of our authentic self. Other visual media are added as each individual journey requires always guided by the process itself. Journalling, co-created group ritual, walks on the beautiful land at Stillpoint, indigenous wisdom teachings, and group interchange ground our journeys. The circle gathered and Helen’s sensitive and seasoned facilitation hold us in a safe and sacred space.

Our focus for this gathering is recognition of our soul’s vibration, the distinct rhythm and energy of our authentic self. It reveals itself in our drawings, is sensed in the insights that present themselves and can be identified in our interchange with each other, the Earth and elements of the web of life. Commitment to personal practice of visual expression and establishment of private rituals through which to deepen the experience with our vibrational essence is our goal.
Fee: $145 for Saturday (includes all materials, and lunch); $45 for Sunday Extension
